About the Nursery

The Gateway Nursery is situated within the purpose built Gateway Centre designed to provide services to meet the needs of people living in the local area.

The nursery is registered with OFSTED to accommodate 62 children between the ages of 0 to 5 years.   We provide both full time and part time places, offering high quality, affordable and reliable childcare based on the values of love, understanding and acceptance.

Our experienced and dedicated team of staff work hard to support the individual development of each child.  Throughout each session the children have access to many interesting activities and experiences that form part of a stimulating curriculum.

The children are provided with nutritious and well balanced meals, including breakfast, lunch and tea, all prepared on the premises by the Gateway Centres' own chef.  The mid morning and mid afternoon snacks provide an opportunity for children and staff to sit together and socialise.

Our Ofsted Inspection gained the outcome "Good", plus additional recognition for outstanding practice in the area of working with parents and carers.

The nursery has also achieved the Investor in People Standard, an award that demonstrates that an organisation recognises the  value of its' staff, their performance and contribution to the service.

All staff who are employed in the nursery have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau.
