Growth Groups will be replacing our Cells from May. The Menu for Summer 2011 groups which run between 9th May and 29th July is listed below:

M1 Mon 8-9.30pm Leaders Mauricio & Sibele Colussi

The Life of Jesus - Jesus is the most fascinating person that ever lived. His life and work manifested the Father’s love to the world and it’s only through Jesus that we can know the Father. How can we follow him if we don’t know who he is, where he came from, what he preached, what he did and where he is now?

M2 Mon 8-10pm Leader Brian Spencer

Curry, Proverbs And Management - For men only, bring your own curry-based food product for the microwave to feed the body. To feed the soul and the spirit, we will use the La Red / Global Priority roundtable method to explore what the Book of Proverbs says to us about these issues: developing people; ambition; inspiration; responsibility; saving; understanding people; ownership; forgiveness; trust in God; and co-signing (giving guarantees).

Tu1 Tues 8-10pm Leaders Emily & Poh Kong Foong

Experiencing The Psalms - A week to week exploration and reflection of some specific psalms based on God’s character, His thoughts about us, His teachings/instructions to us, in the hope that it will deepen and strengthen our assurance, trust and reliance in God our Father when confronted with life situations.

W1 Wed 10.30am-12noon Leader Mary Spencer

Bible Overview - In this course we will be using a pictorial timeline to look at the big story which runs through the Bible. We will do this by looking at the Bible story as being divided into 7 different ages, or dispensations. Bring your Bibles for a fun and stimulating time of discussion and learning, so that we can in the future get more out of our reading God’s word.

W2 Wed 8-10pm Leaders Colette Nelson & Robert Keill

Introduction to Prophecy - This introductory course gives practical tools for hearing God’s voice, developing intimacy, practising the prophetic and understanding terms of prophecy. Practical and reading assignments will be included.

Th1 Thurs 8-10pm Leader Voon Cheng Chan

Encountering Jesus - This is a life-changing course of teaching and ministry focussing on various key subjects. Bring your Bible and praying hands as we apply the words of life and freedom which Jesus is speaking over us. The subjects we will look at include: forgiveness; occult sins; generational sins; rejection; ungodly beliefs; identity; heart of stone; judgments; and soul ties and sexual sins.
