Courses

The Gateway Centre is working with Voluntary Sector Training and other organisations to provide training courses that are relevant for those interested in gaining new skills and growing in confidence and expertise in a friendly, local environment. The Gateway Centre's dedicated training room opened in May 2005 and since then has been working in partnership with Voluntary Sector Training to provide courses tailored to the needs of local community and staff. Some of the courses completed to date include Health & Safety, Pediatric First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene.

Alongside the training room, the main hall, which can seat up to 200 delegates, is also available for bookings for training, conferences or recreational activities.

Courses can also be arranged on demand for a minimum of eight people.
